Issue
- If the production goes down, is there any real-time alert notified to the customer saying that the production server is down?
Resolution

The production down and disaster recovery cases are still similar to the on-premise environment. i.e. there is no such feature to get the real-time alert when production goes down.

What Liferay shall provide is notifying the customer with email at least 72 hours in advance of planned downtime which will include the following information:
- Reason for outage
- Expected downtime
- Contact information
Downtime for which Liferay has provided such advance notice shall be deemed “planned downtime”.
