Issue

  • How to disable the Embedded Elastic Search?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • Please refer to the steps below:
    1. Create a configuration file named "com.liferay.portal.bundle.blacklist.internal.BundleBlacklistConfiguration.config" and place this file into $Liferay-Home → osgi → config​
    2. Add the below content in the file created above:
 blacklistBundleSymbolicNames=[ \ "com.liferay.portal.search.elasticsearch7.api", \
"com.liferay.portal.search.elasticsearch7.impl", \
"com.liferay.portal.search.elasticsearch7.spi", \
"com.liferay.portal.search.elasticsearch7.xpack.security.impl", \
"Liferay Connector to X-Pack Security [Elastic Stack 7.x] - Impl" \
]
