Issue

 • Currently, if file entry validation is enabled and web contents are created with unencoded URLs containing special characters (such as ' ' ] } ) > < \n | ? " " ), publishing automatically fails due to the inability to validate the URLs.

Environment

 • DXP 7.3

Resolution

 • Turning Off File Entry Validation allows web contents containing Unencoded URLs to be published.
 • This can be accomplished by navigating to Control Panel > Configuration > System Settings > Platform > Infrastructure > Import/Export and unchecking the Validate File Entries box.

Additional Information

 • A request for a feature to automatically encode unencoded URLs has been created here: LPS-129504. Voting for this feature request will increase its visibility.
