Issue

I have multiple instances running of the same service. Is it possible to deploy changes (different configuration or jar files) to just one of the containers instead of applying them to all instances?

Environment

  • Liferay Cloud

Resolution

Unfortunately it is not recommended to do so. The containers here mean actually 'cluster nodes', so this is equivalent to asking if a Liferay Cluster can be run where the different nodes have different configurations, and modules deployed, etc. All nodes should have the same plugins / configuration. Different configs require different environments.
