Issue

  • Using the Single Approver Workflow, if a content reviewer rejects the submission, we cannot resubmit after editing it, because the "Submit for Publication" button is inactive and cannot be clicked.

Environment

Resolution

The behavior is intentional, because once a submission has been rejected, it must be modified and resubmitted for approval. See LPS-71849

Therefore, to resubmit the content, follow the steps below:

  1. The Asset Creator should edit and save the rejected content, then access "My Workflow Tasks";9.png
  2. Once the content is saved, the Asset Creator should click on the ⁝ (options) icon on the task page, then resubmit;6.png
  3. The Reviewer will go to "My Workflow Tasks" and click the "Assigned to My Roles" tab, then click "Assign to Me";10.png
  4. The Reviewer will then go to the "Assigned to Me" tab, then review the resubmitted content, then Approve.11.png
