Issue
-
When viewing Edit mode for a page has a style book applied, where a color is configured for a fragment (for example, the fragment's background color), the color will appear as expected in all browsers. However when viewing the published page while using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11), the configured color is not displayed, despite appearing without issue in other browsers.
Environment
- DXP 7.3
- Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11)
Resolution
- This behavior is a known limitation present within 7.3 due to the use of Custom CSS Properties to apply the style book CSS rules to published pages (introduced within LPS-107659), as IE 11 does not support Custom CSS Properties -- see the Browser Compatibility section of this third party documentation titled Using CSS Custom Properties.
