Issue

  • After deploying a theme, how can it be managed, i.e., deactivated or deleted?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0
  • DXP 7.1
  • DXP 7.2
  • DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • Use the App Manager to manage your themes:
    • Open the App Manager:
      • Prior DXP 7.3, go to Control Panel > Apps > App Manager.
      • In DXP 7.3, go to Control Panel > SYSTEM > App Manager.
    • Use the Search bar to find your theme.
    • Use the item menu to deactivate/uninstall it.
  • Alternatively, you could use the Felix Gogo Shell with the commands stop and uninstall.
  • Note that, if the theme you deactivate/uninstall is currently used by any pages, the default theme will be applied instead.
