Issue

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Go to tree pages > public pages > search
    2. Go to configuration page of the portlet Search Results
    3. Set display template as Card Layout
    4. Create a new document in Document Library section
    5. Upload an image as document. (I tried with .png)
    6. Publish the document
    7. Go to home and do a search by some keywords that match with the document

    Expected: Results being displayed with the document thumbnail
    Actual: Results were displayed with the default thumbnail icon.

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue and is fixed in liferay-fix-pack-dxp-2 for 7.3.
  • The observed behavior is a known issue and is fixed in liferay-fix-pack-dxp-12 for 7.2.
  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting hotfix by attaching patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to install these Fixpack in your environment.
