Issue
- I want to store configuration files on Liferay PaaS that should not be accessible to the general public.
- Is there a way to do that?
Resolution
- You can use a custom FTP service for this since the network is private. This would allow you to upload to private location. E. g.: https://hub.docker.com/r/delfer/alpine-ftp-server
- As alternative without needing custom service, you can use the webserver service to host static files: Web Server Service - Configurations
- This describes how to place files on webserver that can then be hosted:
Files in /webserver/configs/{ENV}/public/
will be copied as overrides into var/www/html/
