Issue
- When running Liferay on certain versions of Google Chrome, the search bar within the Liferay portal is blanked out, making it difficult to use the search bar for its intended purpose. Please see the following screenshot as an example:
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.1
- Liferay DXP 7.2
- Liferay DXP 7.3
Resolution
- A workaround with a simple CSS change has been created. In order to obtain this workaround, request a hotfix that includes LPS-142376.
- An official fix for this behavior is currently in review.
