Issue

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start up 2 bundles with remote staging configured in the Global site
    2. In Global > Categorization, add a Vocabulary and a Category
    3. In Global > Content & Data > Web Content, add a basic web content with the category from step 2
    4. In Global > Content & Data > Content Sets > Add a new Dynamic Selection:
Asset Entry Type: Web Content Article
Web Content Article Structures: Basic Web Content
FILTER: Contains All of the following Categories > Select category from step 2
ORDERING: Order by: Priority > And Then By: Title
    5. Publish Global from staging to remote live
Result: Publish is successful, but if you perform the same publish to a 3rd environment, when inspecting the content set in the remote environment we see that the category we selected is not configured as expected, and the default setting is shown (Note: Content Sets does not appear in the Product Menu for the initially configured remote staging site, which is why a 3rd environment is mentioned)
    6. In staging, on the default Liferay DXP site, add a Asset Publisher widget on the site page
ASSET SELECTION: Content Set > Select content set from step 4
    7. Remote publish Liferay DXP site
Expected Behavior: Content shows in remote live Asset Publisher as expected
Actual Behavior: Expected content doesn't show in remote live Asset Publisher

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2
