'Select' button is not disabled for the folder where a document already belongs to

Issue

  • The 'Select' button next to the folder names shows being disabled, but it works as intended when the user clicks on it.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Log in to Liferay and Navigate to Content and Data -> Documents and Media
    2. Created Folder1 and Folder2
    2. Upload a file and add/move it to Folder1.
    3. Navigate to the file in the Folder1 and in the 3dot context menu select Move
    4. In the 'Select Destination Folder for 1 Item' modal window navigate to the Home
    Observed Behavior: The Select buttons are active for Folder1 and Folder2
    Expected Behavior: The 'Select' button for Folder1 is disabled

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • It's a known issue and resolved in Liferay DXP 7.2 fix pack 10 and Liferay DXP 7.3 fix pack 1.
  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting the hotfix by attaching the patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to install this hotfix in the respective environment.
