Issue

  • Users with a certain level of privileges are free to add portlets, but is there a way to see these portlet additions in the logs?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0+

solution

  • The ability to record portlet addition/deletion history is not a basic feature
  • Access logs may allow for some investigation.
  • When a portlet is added/removed, the registration status of the PortletPreferences table changes.
Therefore, investigation from query logs, etc. on the database side may be considered

Additional Information

  • Page viewing events can also be recorded in the audit log.It may also be possible to check from the page browsing history.Disabled by default due to the sheer volume of logs
