Issue

  • When working on a Publication, I would like Liferay to automatically check if the same content was modified in a different publication or in the production environment.
  • Such a feature would proactively prevent Publication conflicts from being created by multiple users editing the same content.

Environment

  • DXP 7.3
  • DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • Currently, Liferay does not have this functionality.

Additional Information

  • A feature request was opened at LPS-163213 to request that this check be added. If selected for development, this feature will be added to a future version of Liferay.
