Issue

  • Currently, through the web console, we only obtain the logs of the last 30 days.
  • How long are the services logs stored in Liferay Cloud Console?

Environment

  • Liferay PaaS

Resolution

  • Logs are kept in "hot" storage in Google Cloud Logging for 30 days.
  • After that period, Liferay currently store the logs in "cold" storage in Google Cloud Storage for up to a year.
  • A support ticket is needed for retrieval of information from "cold" storage.

Additional Information

  • Please be aware that the estimated processing time for log retrieval from "cold" storage is 5 business days.
  • Liferay may change the retention period of the "cold" storage at any point in the future. Customers will be notified.
  • Platform Limitations - Access to Old Logs
