Issue
- When generating document previews for PDF files using default portal.properties configurations, the total disk space being used can far exceed the size of the original PDF file.
- Is it possible to skip preview generation for PDFs only?
Resolution
- Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to disable the file preview generation at the file extension level.
- There is an existing Feature Request Ticket to implement a configuration that would allow document previews to be disabled or controlled based on a specific file extension: LPS-115329
