Issue
- We would like to know what happens when a user who has open workflow tasks is deactivated or deleted. We have seen that deleting or deactivating gives us an error for a open task that has a custom flow made by us. We understand that we will be missing something in the flow, but we would need to know happens when a user is deactivated. Are their tasks cancelled? Does the status changes to another?
Resolution
- In the event of the deactivation of a user or his deletion, a process is executed that tries to reassign all the task assignments that have not been completed by that user to other users depending on how the workflow has been configured, invoking the implemented logic in the "On assignment" event of those tasks. Notifications of these new assignments are also sent and the old assignments are recorded in the Workflow log.
