File size UI message with web content

Issue

  • When creating web content and selecting an image, users need to choose the standard image size. Currently, while selecting an image, the image size is not displayed.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP [all version]

Resolution

  • When users click the plus button, they may access the 'File Upload' option, which displays the file size on the UI. However, unlike blogs, 'documents and media', web content fields do not have this needed UI message. As a result, a feature request has been submitted to get it with the web content upload field.

  • Please be aware that the implementation of new ideas within Liferay products is entirely dependent on their evaluation or investigations since this will need modifying our existing product code, therefore there will be no ETA on this, but users can certainly vote for it.
