Issue

  • I would like to know how can I add the consent panel to pages to comply with the directives mentioned below:
    • "To comply with the regulations governing cookies under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, you must: Make it as easy for users to withdraw their consent as it was for them to give their consent in the first place."

Environment

  • DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The consent panel can be added to any page as a portlet, that can be shared anyhow or can be inserted into the navigation menu.

Additional Information

  • If you would like to use Liferay's cookie preference handling, third-party cookies are not involved yet.
