Issue
- We have loads of web contents that we want to hide from the search results
- Can we do it somehow in a bulk edit, or assign a category to them so we would only need to change the category's visibility?
Resolution
-
The category permissions won't affect the web content's visibility where you set them. The permissions you set for a category affect the category itself, so for example, if you put a Category filter on your page that displays the categories, you can set which roles can view those categories
- If you want to control the web content's visibility, you should change the web content's permissions, that's currently the only way to control who should see the web content in the search results
