Issue

  • ES not working with a docker/containerized setup giving below error:
    There are no ingest nodes in this cluster, unable to forward request to an ingest node

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4 2023 Q3

Resolution

  • Kindly check if ingest property in the docker configuration file is set to false, it should be true in order for ES to run smoothly.
    ingest: "true"

Additional Information

  • Kindly check with docker documentations as well before making any changes on the production environment.
