Issue
How to download converted document through Liferay Document Media portlet while using OpenOffice?
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.4
- LibreOffice 7.1.6
- OpenOffice 4.1.11
Resolution

Add the dl.file.entry.conversions.enabled=true property in the portal-ext.properties file and restart the server.

Post this change, convert option would be visible while downloading any document inside document and media portlet:
- Open a sample file, say sample.xlsx
- Click on the information ℹ️ button, and click on download

Result: A list of options are provided to download the files in given extensions.
Note: Given property is not used unless OpenOffice is enabled.
