Issue
- How can a user remove languages in Instance Settings?
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.3
- Liferay DXP 7.4
Resolution
- Start up a vanilla bundle without any specific language settings.
- Go to Control Panel > Instance Settings > Localization. Make sure all languages are available.
- Stop the system and put the following settings in portal-ext.properties:
locales=en_US locales.enabled=en_US
- Start up the system.
- Go to Control Panel > Instance Settings > Localization
- Move all languages to the "Available" tab and move English-US back to the "Current" tab and click save.
Result: All languages are removed exempt for English-US (attached a video).
