Folder titles shown in capitals in "Table" view in Documents and Media

Issue

  1. Go to Documents and Media

  2. Add some folders (eg: css, index)

  3. Switch between Cards, List and Table views

Result: In Table view only, the folder names are capitalized (eg: CSS, INDEX). The default folder name (Provided by Liferay) is not capitalized.

 

Environment

  • Quarterly Release
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

 

Resolution

  • This is a bug, fixed by LPD-20723.
  • The fix is included from 2023.Q4.0 and 2024.Q1.8 (for 7.4 it is available from u116).

 

Additional Information

  • If you cannot upgrade to one of the mentioned Releases and need a hotfix, please contact Support.
