Resolution

  • Liferay's Compatibility Matrix focuses on software dependencies, such as operating systems, databases, and application servers.
  • Liferay should function as expected on any hardware that meets the specified requirements for the supported operating system and other software components.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to select hardware which allows the product to function according to the customer's business needs, performance requirements or service requirements. (Consider factors like processing power, memory, storage capacity, bandwidth, etc).
  • Regarding hardware manufacturers/builds, Liferay doesn't have specific requirements.
