Issue

  • The field value cannot be completely cleared
  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Navigate to Liferay DXP > Content & Data > Web Content
    2) Go to the Structure tab
    3) Add a structure with a Numeric field
    4) Back to the Web content tab
    5) Add Web Content with the created structure
    6) Fill in the Numeric field
    7) Add a translation
    8) Try deleting the field value and adding a new value
    Expected Behavior: Field value can be cleared and edited
    Observed Behavior: Field value cannot be completely cleared

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a verified bug of DXP that has been addressed by LPS-171487
