Issue
- When a user creates web content with dots '.', the friendly URL shows the dot. Unlike other special characters such as Spaces, the dot is not replaced.
-
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the DXP 7.3
2. Navigate to Content & Data -> Web Content and add basic web content with a title that has special characters, spaces, and dots like:
'web-.content-.1.' then publish it.
3. Edit the web content and check its friendly URL.
Observed Behavior: The friendly URL is 'http://localhost:8080/web/guest/-/web-.content-.1'.
Expected Behavior: The friendly URL should be 'http://localhost:8080/web/guest/-/web-content-1-'
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.3
