Issue
- We are using Github as VCS for our modules and themes code.
- Structure and Template changes are done manually on the server and they are moved to next server either by export-import or we have to again make the changes on that environment manually.
- We want the templates to be a part of the repository so that they can be reviewed for the changes and can be deployed to server automatically.
Resolution
- Currently, our API is the out-of-the-box feature that can be used to help with this. You can try creating your solution using the articles at Building Applications that push the template code to GitHub, then retrieve it if needed.
-
There are also solutions where you do not need to use the OSGi framework, please see Client Extensions for further information.
