Issue
- Created tabs are not clickable in 2023.q4.0 editor where as the same tabs were working correctly in Liferay 7.2 editor.
Resolution
- In DXP 7.2, the editor utilized was AlloyEditor. However, DXP 7.4 has transitioned to CKEditor, resulting in the observed difference in functionality.
- This is the expected behavior for CKEditor since script tags are being protected. It is done by this piece of code in CKEditor.
- Script tags will be executed as normal in Web Content, i.e., in preview mode or just when being added to some Web Content Display, however, they will be protected by CKEditor during edition.
