Sometimes not getting full captcha text in the image

Issue

  • Full captcha is not visible sometimes, which degrades the user experience as the user needs to refresh the captcha image trying to get a full image in order to pass the captcha test.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0+

Resolution

  • The captcha box size is the root cause here.
  • Please navigate to System Settings --> Security Tools --> Captcha and set the value of Simple CAPTCHA Width to 300(or any other suitable value).
