Issue

  • Right now redirection component is only available for pages, not intended for web contents, documents,...

Resolution

Currently there two limitations regarding the redirection component, both of which have a related ticket opened:

  • LPS-112815: Redirection component isn't allowed for web content, documents,...
  • LPS-131807: Redirection component doesn't handle some special characters like ?, @

Meanwhile an alternative is to configure the redirections in the frontal, if available. That will help also to increase the performance since the redirections will not be handled by the application server.
