Issue

  • When empty search performed not all the available subCategories are shown under a certain Category.

Environment

  • Liferay 7.4+

Resolution

  • At your search facets, select configuration of the Category facet and change the value of Max Terms. This value limits how many categories are shown in total, so when empty search is performed it may happen that there are more than the current limit, so some of them won't show.
