Issue

  • Currently, it's only possible to find and select related files in a Web Content by searching by name. This becomes impractical when dealing with thousand of files that don't have semantic names but are well-structured in folders and subfolders.
  • Is there any configuration where I can change this through the folder and subfolder hierarchy defined in Documents and media?

Environment

  • All environments

Resolution

  • Right now this is a limitation on the product. There is a Feature Request asking to include this functionality in a future release of Liferay: LPD-26295
