Issue

  • JSON web services API page is being exposed through the URL http://[address]:[port]/api/jsonws.
  • I would like to restrict the IP addresses that will have access to this servlet.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • You can restrict the IP addresses that will have access to this servlet by setting the following property in your portal-ext.properties file:
    jsonws.servlet.hosts.allowed=
  • By default, the property is set to blank, and it allow any IP address to access this servlet.
  • You can enter a list of comma delimited IP addresses that can access this specific servlet.
