Issue

  • Steps taken:

    1. Drag and drop the calendar on a page.
    2. Create a new event by clicking the 'Add Event' button.
    3. On the Add Event page, there is a section 'Invitations' from where we invite users.
    4. In the Invitations section, unable to add multiple user groups to invite.

Environment

  • Liferay 7.2

Resolution

  • As of now, there is no OOB (out-of-the-box) way to invite multiple user groups to a calendar event.  As a result, a feature request has been submitted for this.
  • The feature request can be tracked here: LPSA-72815

  • Requesting a New Feature or Feature Improvement
  • Please be aware that the implementation of new ideas within Liferay products is entirely dependent on their evaluation or investigations since this will need modifying our existing product code, therefore there will be no ETA on this.
