Issue
- Freemarker is showing verbose exception on site, even though RETHROW is set.
Resolution
The Journal Article error template can be configured with the following steps:
- Navigate to Control Panel > System Settings > Web Content > Web Content (VIRTUAL INSTANCE SCOPE)
- Set Error Template FTL: remove current value <blank> (or customize as needed)
- Save
- Navigate to Control Panel > Server Administration > Resources
1.Execute: Clear content cached across the cluster
With these settings, the stack trace will not be displayed in case an error occurs during the web content creation.
