Error when executing Groovy script: java.sql.SQLException: Can't call commit when autocommit=true

Issue

  • When a Groovy script with a commit instruction is executed it fails with the error:
 java.sql.SQLException: Can't call commit when autocommit=true

Environment

  • DXP 7.2

Resolution

  • On the portal-ext.properties file make the following changes:
    • At the end of the jdbc connector add: &relaxAutoCommit=true
    • Add the property: jdbc.default.autoCommit=false
  • Restart the portal and execute the script again.
