Issue

  • Date format isn't correctly displayed on view entries
  • Steps to Reproduce
    1) Navigate to Content & Data > Forms > Add new Form
    2) Ensure that English is the default language
    3) Add a date field
    4) Add Brazilian Portuguese as a new language
    5) Publish the form
    6) Submit the same date in the 2 different languages available
    7) Go back to the Forms Entries screen
    Expected Behavior: Date formats should be displayed according to the current user language
    Observed Behavior: Dates are displayed according to the format of the languages that they were submitted on

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known Liferay DXP bug that has been resolved in 7.4 DXP U1.
