Custom fragments containing drop-zone not getting duplicate properly

Issue

Not able to duplicate the custom fragments containing dropzone.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start Liferay DXP 7.4. (Between update 60 and 2023.Q3.2 Quarterly Release)
2. Import the custom fragments.zip file by navigating to Product Menu > Design > Fragments > Three Dots > Import (Choose the fragments.zip file)
3. Create a content page by navigating to Product Menu > Site Builder > Pages > Click on the blue '+' icon > Page > Choose 'Blank' Template
4. Now, under 'Fragments and Widgets', navigate to the 'IMPORTED' section. (Custom imported fragment will be visible)
5. Drag the custom fragment containing the drop zone on the page.
6. Click the fragment on the page, and a side panel (Browser) will appear on the left side.
7. In the side panel (Browser), we can see the fragment.
8. Duplicate the fragment by clicking the 'three dots' > 'duplicate' option of the fragment in the side panel.
9. The fragment containing the drop zone is not duplicated properly, and the side panel 'Browser' disappeared.

  • Liferay DXP 7.4
  • Liferay DXP 2023.Q3.2

Resolution

  • This is a known bug that has been addressed by LPS-202493
