Issue
- We often experience some javascript warning messages when opening different parts of Liferay, e.g. the web content editor
- They say
This can lead to unexpected behaviour in the "Liferay.component" and "Liferay.componentReady" APIs, as well as in the "*:registered" events.
- Should we be worried about those messages?
Resolution
- The warning messages are intended to be there. They are more like notes, just like the WARN messages in the server logs.
- If there is an actual functional issue in the portal caused by the components' double registration, please report them to Liferay Support and we will address those behaviors.
