Issue
- CAPTCHA Verification is being failed. This only occurs when using a custom captcha portlet, captcha components from the portal (for example, the "forgot password" page) work properly.
Resolution

There is a
serveImage method for ResourceRequest (portlet) in the SimpleCaptchaImpl class, but it was removed from CaptchaUtil (the class used in the custom codes by the customer till now) by LPS-181665.

It was unused, as local APIs are not accessible to 7.4+ customers. The removal was also registered on LPS-196214.
