Issue

  • In a "Content page", we use an asset publisher that displays all content. We add in this page two selectors of vocabularies for two different ones.
  • When filtering with a category of the first vocabulary, the asset publisher is well filtered. But when we add a category filter on the second vocabulary, the previous selection is lost.

Environment

  • DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The reported behavior is actually intended. The public render parameter categoryId can only handle one value at a time.
  • To fulfill the issue's requirement, a customization of the environment is suggested, or use different widgets like the Search Portlet and the Category Facet combined as it is described in this article: How to use multiple facets of the same type

Additional Information

  • It is always possible to open a Feature Request ticket to request changing a behavior for future releases of Liferay.
