Issue

  • User cannot import .LAR files due to missing languages. A warning message is displayed with the list of missing languages:mceclip1.png

Environment

  • Liferay Portal 6.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.0
  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  1. Go to Control Panel -> Configuration -> Instance Settings -> Miscellaneous
  2. Move the required languages from the Available to the Current tab
  3. Save it
  4. Import the .LAR file again
