Issue

  • If I change the "password expiration date" in the password policy, what is the criteria for expiration?

Environment

  • DXP 7.0+

solution

  • If the number of days in the "Password Expiration Date" of the password policy has elapsed based on the "User_.passwordModifiedDate", it will be treated as expired.

    Example：
    Password expiration date：2 weeks
    User's password last update date：1/1

    In this case, if a user logs in after 2 weeks from the last update date, a "password expired" message will appear and the user cannot log in.
    If the "Password Expiration Date" in the password policy set for the user in question is changed to 26 weeks, the user will be able to log in.
