Issue

Expected Result:

The interactive options when editing a page should be accessible using the keyboard Tab key as well as via mouse

 

Actual Result:

When editing the home page the main menu options are not accessible using the mouse, instead they are only accessible using the keyboard Tab key.


Steps to Reproduce:
Tools: JAWS Screen Reader
1. Open the main page of a Liferay environment
2. Navigate to Open Product Menu > Site builder > pages, Then navigate to Home > Edit (in three dot menu to the right of the +), Home page will appear.

3. Navigate to the region at the top of the home page (including the Search bar, User Information, and page tabs) using the mouse and observe the issue.

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • This issue has been addressed in U49
  • Please contact Liferay Support to request a hotfix for versions prior to U49
