Standard Permissions

Liferay defines several standard permissions across various applications and resources, such as view, edit, update, and more.

Managing permissions

Permissions are best managed through roles. In a role, you can collect sets of permissions users need and then assign them the role:

  1. Create a new role.

  2. Define the role permissions.
