Marketplace
Liferay Marketplace is a platform where you can find, download, and share apps. It features an updated UI and supports Liferay SaaS. To access Marketplace, visit marketplace.liferay.com.
To start using Marketplace, sign in with your Liferay account or create a new one.
You can publish the following types of content on the Marketplace:

DXP Apps: Module-based apps delivered as
.lpkgfiles that you can install to modify native Liferay behavior. -
Cloud Apps: Apps based on client extensions, available only to users with a cloud project linked to their Liferay account. These apps don’t modify Liferay modules or require module deployment.

Solutions: Available only to Liferay partners.

Liferay DXP 2025.Q2+/Portal GA135+ Client Extensions: Lightweight customizations that run outside of Liferay and communicate via APIs. They let you apply custom code (JavaScript, CSS), embed external applications, or connect to remote services—without deploying modules or modifying Liferay’s core. These are the primary customization method for Liferay SaaS and PaaS environments and work across all hosting types.

Liferay DXP 2025.Q2+/Portal GA135+ Low-Code Configurations: Business apps built with fragments, datasets, or objects. These are deployed through the UI, not the module framework.

Liferay DXP 2025.Q2+/Portal GA135+ Composite Apps: App bundles that combine multiple parts such as OSGi modules + client extensions + low-code elements.
