Adding Reasons for Returns

When creating a return request, customers must choose a reason for the return.

  1. Open the Global Menu (Global Menu) and navigate to Control PanelInstance Settings.

  2. Select the Orders option under Commerce.

  3. Under Site Scope, select Return Reasons.

  4. Click Add to enter a reason and enter the following information:

    Key: defective-or-damaged-goods

    Name: Defective or damaged goods

    Priority: 0

    The key field is a unique identifier for the return reason. The name field appears in the Return Reason drop-down. The priority decides the order of reasons in the drop-down.

    You can add multiple return reasons.

  5. Click Save.

You can add multiple reasons with their own unique keys.

Commonly Added Return Reasons

  • Received defective or damaged goods
  • Received incorrect items
  • Compatibility issues
  • Product did not match the description
