Adding Reasons for Returns
When creating a return request, customers must choose a reason for the return.

Open the Global Menu () and navigate to Control Panel → Instance Settings.

Select the Orders option under Commerce.

Under Site Scope, select Return Reasons.

Click Add to enter a reason and enter the following information:
Key: defective-or-damaged-goods
Name: Defective or damaged goods
Priority: 0
The key field is a unique identifier for the return reason. The name field appears in the Return Reason drop-down. The priority decides the order of reasons in the drop-down.

Click Save.
You can add multiple reasons with their own unique keys.
Commonly Added Return Reasons
- Received defective or damaged goods
- Received incorrect items
- Compatibility issues
- Product did not match the description
