Issue
- After connecting to Analytics Cloud (AC) there's an Analytics Administrator user with the Analytics Administrator regular role.
- What is their use?
Environment
- Liferay DXP with Analytics Cloud
Resolution
- The Analytics Administrator user is automatically created when the connection to AC is configured and it's deleted when AC is disconnected.
- This user is created for behind-the-scenes actions, like creating a scheduled job for contacts syncing.
- This user needs to exist and should not be deleted when AC is connected.
- This user won't be synced to AC if contacts sync is enabled.
- Other users can be assigned the Analytics Administrator role, but they won't work as a replacement for the default Analytics Administrator user.
- Analytics Administrator users other than the default one will be synced to AC if contacts sync is enabled.
