Exercise: Delivering Segment-Based Content with a Dynamic Collection

Dynamic collections can automatically deliver personalized content based on segment criteria. Clarity wants to display targeted content on the Resources page for specific distributor segments. Here, you’ll assign the dynamic collection there as the Clarity Admin User.

  1. While logged as the Clarity admin, open the Site Menu (Site Menu) and click Page Tree.

  2. Go to the Resources page and click Edit ().

  3. Click the Experience drop down at the top of the page and delete the LATAM Distributor Experience.

  4. Select the Distributor Experience and ensure that it's in the top position.

  5. With the Distributor Experience selected, click the Collection Display.

  6. On the General tab, click Change () and select the Distributor Articles collection.

  7. Click Publish to save your changes to the Resources page.

  8. Change the experience to the Distributor Experience and check that the changes persist.

Displaying the dynamic collection on the Resources page enables regional personalization without separate experiences. LATAM distributors now see region-specific content, allowing content managers to deliver targeted messages from a single, centralized page.
